And they’re off!

Well, after tidying a few not so tidy areas of the site over the last day or so I’ve started to push the site out to the CSS galleries for some feedback and much needed traffic.

I’ve spent a good few hours trawling through the sites listed in 110+ CSS Galleries to submit your site to and submitted to the majority of them. I’ve now got endless inspiration to pick up the draft I did on Effective Form Design and get it finished.

CSSMania.com picked up the site fairly quickly which was nice, as it is a site that I visit quite often myself. For the rest I’ll just have to wait and see but things are definitely up and running.

I’m not one for redesigning for the sake of redesigning but I’ve always struggled to find the perfect skin for this blog. A common problem for designers. Many design iterations have got to near completion before being completely scrapped and started over. Without a client brief or limitations many designers including myself simply sink in feature creep, lack of direction or worst of all the search for perfection.

Anyway regardless of this I’ve began re-skinning allcreatives with a design that is realistic (feature wise), portrays the content firstly and hopefully whilst not perfect is easy on the eye.

You may notice a few bits and bobs out of place for a week or so but seen as hardly anyone visits the site at the moment I’ve the luxury of skinning the site live.
