First free download on istmay is the CSS based template ‘Nearly Circular’
The template displays a taster of what is to come from the CSS3 spec, mostly the lovely rounded corners and the much troubled @font-face. There are also a few pseudo css selectors used to control some elements.
The template is supported perfectly in Firefox 3.5+ and Safari 4+. All other browsers will degrade into a nice square version of the design and it’s also supported by most cheap hosting services so you won’t have trouble looking for compatible web host..
Although this design could be used for real life projects its more intended as a nice example of CSS3 in action. As you’ll notice there are only two images used in the entire design – one for the background and one for the filler content on the sub content columns. The rounded corners are all rendered using CSS.
So feel free to use this design or any of the elements contained on any project you feel appropriate – all thats asked is that you link back to istmay with the correct credit.
